Hello, Community Admins!
We continue to improve the Cloud Community experience for you, your Visitors, Guests, and Members.
Here is what’s new and what’s changed for May:
New Feature: Resend meeting invites.
Admins and meeting creators can now resend meeting invites to attendees when a meeting attendee hasn’t received it yet 🙂
Who does this impact?
- Community Admins
- Community Members with Manage Meeting Permission.
What is the impact?
- Viewing the meeting attendees page, I can see an option to Resend Invite.
- When you click Resend, the meeting invite is added to the email queue, and you are presented with a Message: The invites have been scheduled and will be sent shortly.

Enhancement: Account Emails
Email marketing rules are constantly improved to prevent Spam. Now all emails require a physical address. Now, all emails sent by The Community Cloud have a physical address.
Who does this impact?

What is the impact?
- When viewing emails, you can now see the email footer.
- All emails sent on behalf of a Cloud Community Account will have the following:
- TCC logo
- Make by The Innovia Group LLC
- 195 Montague Street 14th FL, Brooklyn NY 11201
- TheCommunitycloud.com
- All emails sent on behalf a Community Network Account will have the following:
- Account Logo
- Make by The Innovia Group LLC
- Account Address
- Account Domain address
New Feature: New Component Editor CTA
Website Components now have a new Call to Action (CTA). We added a mail-to option and the ability to provide an email address so that website visitors can send an email.
Who does this impact?
- Content Editors
- Community Admins
What is the impact?
- When working with the button editor’s linked to, you now have an option to select mailto
- When you select mailto, you can enter an email address.
- When viewing the component from the website and clicking the button, an email composer window opens to give you options of mailto
Enhancement: Community Tasks
You can now access Community Tasks in 2 clicks from anywhere. Community Admins can also access and add Tasks to any Community Member..

- Community Admins
- Community Members with permission XXX .
What is the impact?
- Community Tasks are now accessible from the Profile menu.
- Admins can view and assign Community Tasks to themselves and members.
- Community Members can view and assign Community Tasks to themselves.
Enhancement: Improved Meeting Roles
Community Meetings are a little easier. When creating or editing a Community Meeting you can now select the meeting type and you will see new meeting roles.

What is the impact?
- When creating a meeting you can now select the following Meeting Roles:
- Creator – The Community Member that has created the meeting. They can create, edit and publish Meeting Agendas and Meeting Minutes.
- Chair – The Community Member that is Responsible for leading the meeting. They can create, edit and publish Meeting Agendas and Meeting Minutes.
- Secretary – The Community Member that is responsible for recording the meeting the Meeting minutes. They can create, edit and publish Meeting Agendas and Meeting Minutes.
- Presenter – The Community Member and the Admin Team member of a Group, an Event, and a Workshop Meeting. They can add attachments to Meeting
- Attendees: The Community or Group Member, and the Registration of an Event or Workshop that is invited to the Meeting.
- When creating a Meeting, then Meeting Creator is assigned to the all Meeting roles by default. This change can be changed when creating or by editing a meeting that has already been created.
We have fixed the following issues/errors this month:
Email template footer issues
The email footer issues of not showing the app store image button and not showing an account brand color are now fixed and working.
Meeting Task email
This issue is fixed. When a meeting task is assigned to a member, the appointed member now gets a Meeting Task Assigned email notification.
Emails that do not have SPAM Footer
The App link in “Member verification email” and Email content for new shares issues are now fixed and working.
